The Supagrip SafeKerb ramp provides a safe transition from roadway to footpath for pedestrians and wheel chair users when a footpath has been closed for site works.
It has a Rubber/PVC edging to prevent ramp movement, and a high traction surface to increase grip in wet weather.
This ramp meets AS1428:1 Design for Access and Mobility and is the only pedestrian kerb ramp in the NZ market that complies to and exceeds the ‘Wheel Chair Boarding Ramp Specification’, the ‘Safety at Street works, Code of Practice’ and the ‘Disability Discrimination Act.
Use as an access ramp for wheelchairs, pushchairs, mobility scooters, up to 350kg
Effective anti-slip surface and raised sides
Adapts to varying kerb or step heights (60mm to 160mm)
Very stable without bolting – Can be bolted if site conditions are poor and Risk Assessment deems necessary
Made from High-density polyethylene (HDPE) and PVC – 100% recyclable
Can be supplied with concrete screws for fixing down if extra stability is desired (4 per ramp).
